Canadian chillwave producer Teen Daze has had a busy 2012. He released his debut ‘All Of Us, Together’ in May, a synth-laden epic which was made up of demos and tracks he had released over the last couple of years. Whereas that album was more of a daytime sun-kissed affair, his second album ‘The Inner Mansions’ (out today on Lefse Records) sounds like more of a late night/early morning, post-rave soundtrack which Jamison describes as a ‘spiritual and musical journey’.
Featuring melancholy down-beat samples, airy synths and large Sigor Ros-y washes of sound this is a well produced mellow record that I’m sure you’ll hear in the chill-out rooms of many East London clubs. Oh, it is streaming for free here.
