Washed Out ‘It All Feels Right’

Georgia-based artist Washed Out (real name Ernest Greene) wowed listeners with his debut album ‘Within & Without’ in 2011, a mellow but warm sounding album that was thrust into the ‘chillwave’ genre but was so much more. His follow up has been highly anticipated across the board. ‘Paracosm’ is due for release on August 12 via Weird World (August 13 via Sub Pop in the U.S.) and was again produced by Ben Allen (Animal Collective, Deerhunter, Gnarls Barkley). It was also announced that over 50 different instruments were used on the album including “the most significant … old keyboards like the Mellotron, Chamberlin, Novatron, and Optigan.” This bodes well for an organic and more live sounding record – just what we need!

The first taster ‘It All Feels Right’ has a sunny, psychedelic feel that I’m sure it will keep all the right people happy.
