California sisters HAIM continue their assault to the top. 2013 has been already been huge year for the band: after the radio-ready singles ‘Don’t Save Me’ and ‘Falling’ the band topped BBC’s Sound of 2013 poll, toured with Phoenix and appeared at nearly every festival under the sun including Glastonbury. They’ve been compared to Fleetwood Mac and The Pretenders but they have their own spirit and energy that is clearly on show on their new single ‘The Wire’ which dropped today on Zane Lowe’s BBC show. With the single set to be released on September 23rd and an album on the way they will be ruling the airwaves by beginning of 2014 so get on board now!
‘The Wire’ is a high octane, multi-layered track that showcases the girls knack for harmony and a catchy chorus – this is just great great pop music – listen here:
